Associateship is a qualification within the IPPA and shows the photographer to have a high level of technical ability and a strong photographic style. A candidate for Associateship MUST hold Licentiate-ship of the IPPA for at least two years. Padraic Deasy was awarded his associateship in Portrait Photography.
